A friend plants the seed to create a stone altar in the spirit and tradition of mani stones and walls.  Look at this magnificent picture above!  Just like that, in the midst of snow covered mountains and hillsides and deities, khata cloths, tree branches as flag poles, a wall of prayer and protection, a public, known place of prayer and protection, a marker, this “wall”, a monument to a culture’s refuge.

This joy, accompanied by the sorrow of Haiti’s earthquake.

To open our own heart like a Buddha, we must embrace the ten thousand joys and the ten thousand sorrows.

May our praktis be solid, firm and clear, especially on these days leading up to the New Moon Solar Eclipse, January 15, 2010.

May all be well,

Jnaseh
